Whilst all our tours are bespoke and will take in the sites & attractions that you want to enjoy (time permitting), most first time visitors to Northern Ireland typically want to see the treasures of the North Coast and the highlights of Belfast. A sample 8 hour itinerary, with approximate timings, (cost £400 plus VAT for up to 7 guests) would be as follows:
Departure from Belfast at 9.00am (earlier or later, it's up to you!). Travel to the North Coast (approximately 90 minutes).
During this time you will be able to spend the time watching videos of Northern Ireland's key sites to give you an idea of what to expect (and get ideas for your next visit), use the complimentary in-car wi-fi or listen to your music playlists.
- Stop 1: The Dark Hedges, famous from the Game of Thrones (15-30 mins)
- Stop 2: travel to the Giant's Causeway and walk this world heritage site (90-120 mins)
Break for lunch (30-60 mins)
- Stop 3: transfer to either Carrick-a-rede rope bridge or Bushmills Distillery tour (90 mins).
Return to Belfast (90 mins)
Driving tour of Belfast to include choice of City Centre, Titanic Quarter, Cathedral Quarter, Queen's Quarter or the Murals (the amount of time will depend on how long has been spent at each of the previous stops)
Return to your Cruise Ship or Hotel (15 mins)
a) Entrance fees apply at Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and Bushmills Distillery which are not included in the tour cost. For visitors to the Giant's Causeway an entrance fee applies should you wish to enter the visitor centre as well as walk the causeway.
b) At peak seasonal times there are likely to be queues to enter Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and the Bushmills Distillery Tour. If you'd prefer not to wait we can substitute these stops by travelling back along the coast road at a leisurely pace to enjoy the sights on the way back to Belfast and/or spend more time back in Belfast for the driving tour.
